Has anyone stayed in Menton. We have stayed outside but want to be in the city itself. We are 2 adults, not looking for nightlife. Just bneaches, pastries and short drives. Would prefer beach view but are open to any suggestions. September is the month we will be travelling. Grocery store nearby. We will have a car. Thanks you in advance.

Solo in Sicily - April 2013
We stayed at the Prince des Gaulles and liked it a lot.
I'm booked at the Balmoral in early June which is right on the beach with ocean views. If you top this thread around the 15th of June I will post a review.
I like Prince des Galles and Princess and Richmond.
