A group of friends are meeting in Zurich Airport, then taking the train to Grindelwald. Is there an easy or preferred place to meet at the Zurich Airport, or near the train departure area? Is purchasing tickets for train travel easy for English-only speakers? We've never been to Switzerland before so advise is appreciated!

no problem in purchasing tickets using English at any major station in Switzerland.
after the rail ticket counter at the airport you walk through to a shopping area before getting to the trains - check the airport website to find a meeting point and agree on it with your friends.
enjoy your visit!
You can buy your tickets at the manned counters (English speaking) or with a machine ( multilingual ).

The machine will ask you if you need a normal ticket or reduced (price) one. Reduced one ( 1/2 price ) is for children under 16 y.o. or if you are a holder of 1/2 fare card.
