Tickets bought, intinerary set, then a thought came to mind:

Will there be wildflowers blooming anywhere in late May? Lupines, poppies, or other?

If so, where might be the best spot to catch such splashes of color? We're doing the ring road.

I hoping to see the verdant spring green I've seen in pictures-- is that likely in May? Or will it be the green-brown of recovering grass that I see out my Massachusetts windows?
