May Travelers: Please post your trip reports.

On another post there were so many people traveling to Italy in May, I would love to read some of your reports.

It is so much better to get travel advice from a recent visitor, please tell us a little about your trip.!

I just finished mine, "Vendors in Venice, Valpolicella in Verona..." It's near the top right now.

I'm getting there, I'm getting there: but you know how it is - upon one's return home, there is a large pileup of stuff to do.

Good one, Ira, but some must be back already.

I got back from Nice, Milan and Bellagio yesterday and will post a report as soon as I catch up with work and household chores. But a thanks in advance for some of the good tips I received here at Fodors (example: L'Ecurie in Nice, Bilacus in Bellagio).

ProudMom,

The internet is about free exchange of opinion, please don't take it too personally.

I'd be happy to see your report (and reserve the right to let you know if I diaagree with anything!)

Proudmom, I think your experience with no ATM card is a valuable one for people to learn.

Please post a report, afterall we can all learn from other's mishaps AND we would love to read all the good things that happened too!

Thanks for the encouragement - I used a lot of the tips I got here over the last few months in all four cities we visited. I'll get busy and do up a report - we had a wonderful time!

I'm trying to finish up a trip report and we're back from Italy six weeks already.

But it really has to be edited down. Just not sure how much detail people really want to read.

Ah, put in the details, those who don't want them can skip over them. Sometimes the details are the best part, such as what you ordered, etc.

I am just starting to plan my next trip so I am really in the trip report detail mood!

nocinonut,

Where are you going? Or does it depend on what you read in the trip reports?

I am getting myself all hyped up as you can tell for a trip to Southern France and Northern Italy by the lakes.

I get so excited planning that I want to share other's excitement too!
