Excellent olive oil to be had. One of our favorites. We always try to stop when we are in the neighborhood. Be aware though that outside the pressing season (Nov, Dec, Jan), there is not much action to be seen. Just lots of lovely olive groves. Still you can always do a tasting.

Kevin, someone told me they had lunch at the groves. Do you know anything about that?

Their olive oil is excellent -- so good that when we visited them in October 2007 they were sold out. Fortunately a grocery store in Eygalieres carried tins of their olive oil.

They are really pleasant people and I am sure if you asked politely whether or not you could picnic out in front of the Mas overlooking the groves, they wouldn't have a problem.

If you were asking if they serve any kind of lunch, honestly don't know, but don't think so...

p.s.: there is also the Mas de la Dame not far away. Very good olive oil and great wines and a very nice picnic spot as well.

Mvip, it's true they have incredibly good olive oil (has won the médaille d'or at least twice), but don't expect some kind of big "tour." It's a small, quiet family-owned operation where you can see groves of olive trees, a bit of the equipment they use if they're not too busy, and browse the very small but tempting store of their products. They'd probably let you sit somewhere and have a picnic, but unless they've installed a café or something very recently, they can't serve you food or drink. There's usually hardly anyone there, so I can't imagine it would have been worth it to them to offer refreshments.

Be sure you have great directions!
