marseille France port to St Charles Station
We will be in Marseilles France for 1 day docking from a cruise ship.We need to meet friends at St. Charles Station. How do we get there from the cruise ship dock?We leave the ship about 9 A.M. and will return about 8 P.M.

Last month, I stayed 3 nights in the city center of Marseille, at a hotel by the Vieux Port. I suppose the dock for the big cruise ships are located west of the Vieux Port, kind of near Majore(sp?) church. It seemed pretty out of city center. There may be a bus line or a shuttle service or you would need to take a taxi. Maybe 10 to 15 min.ride. If you have no luggage and can take your time finding your way, it would be about 30min.walk to the Vieux Port, then 10 min. to St.Charles Station.
