Marriott near Red Square?

Hi there - someone had mentioned that there's a Marriott right next to Red Square. Does anyone know which one this is? They all say walking distance on the Marriott website.

Thanks!

Pam, I know it is not the Tverskya one so you can rule that out. I think it is the Royal Aurora based on the maps they show on Marriott.com. I ate there almost every day as I was craving caesar salads and basic American favorites after 2 months of travel.

It could also be the Marriott Grand at the lower end of Tverskaya. It is walking distance by my standards.

I just returned from Russia. I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. It is within easy walking distance of Red Square. It is a couple of blocks in from Tverskaya. If I remeber correctly you come out by equestrian statue on Tverskaya which is closer to Red Square then the Marriott Tverskaya and Grand but I can't tell with the Royal Aurora.

The Marriott which is closest to Red Square is the Marriott Aurora. It's about 2 long blocks away. The next closest I'm fairly certain would be the Courtyard, and then it would be the Marriott Grand. The farthest is the Tverskaya.

Thanks for all the help - we'll try the Aurora.
