maps for our pda

Can anyone tell me what maps they use on their PDA? We have a Palm Tungsten C ...not sure what or where to get maps for France.

I posted this before but didn't get an answer so I am trying again since my husband is asking me again..or should I post on Monday?.I have often wondered if some days get more action than others.

Thank you.

We leave in 5 days..

It doesn't matter which day of the week you post a question to this board; after all, you can always "ttt" a message (even the one you say went unanswered) anytime to bring it up for further consideration.

Have you tried a search on google, or other search engine, for something like "maps for pda europe"?

PDAs are fine, but IMO nothing beats a good Michelin map.

PDAs are fine, and Michelin maps are good, but IMO nothing beats a good Michelin map on a fine PDA.

Especially if said fine PDA has GPS capability, so your location on the good Michelin map is constantly indicated, and your route to your next waypoint is continuously computed.

Start here:

Oh, and by the way, the Red Guide can be integrated so that your PDA can also show you where you can eat and sleep.

I should add that the "Maps and Route Planning" product does compute your route, display directions and show you where you are with a GPS - it just doesn't speak instructions to you as the "ViaMichelin Navigation" does.

Robespierre, thanks..I just emailed your notes to my husband. He is in the family room huddled over his pda.(I am sure you know what I mean)

Underhill...who is the navigator?..well me I guess. At least that's the way it worked in the rv, and we had a gps and laptop there but somehow managed to get lost a few times. I would assume getting lost in France would be more fun.
