Malta--Where to go for romantic getaway?

I'll have 3 days at the end of a cruise that finishes in Malta (early October). I'm considering staying for an extra couple of nights. Any recommendations for where I can go (hotel? town?) for a relaxing, "romantic" stay? Thanks.

I would rent a villa or apartment on Gozo.

Yes, my initial research makes me think Gozo is a good choice. But it appears that villas want a one week minimum. Maybe I can try to negotiate for October. But if not, I'm looking for a hotel. I'd love something away from a city center, nice view. Close to beach would be nice.

Hotel Ta' Cenc on Gozo. Beautiful place on the water with private bungalows. Here's some photos.

I can recommend Club Gozo for apartment rentals, but if you can afford luxury I'd go for the hotel.
