Malpensa to Milano/Porto Garibaldi o Centrale Question...

Jump to last reply

I'm arriving in Milano at 12:15 on a Friday and am leaving immediately for Rome via train.

Even though there is a train leaving Centrale at 14:05, I'm going to give myself a few hours to go through customs, take the Malpensa Express to a train station, and catch the train to either Porto Garibaldi (15:00 train) or Centrale (16:00 train).

I'd prefer to leave from Garibaldi because the train leaves earlier and because I wouldn't have to ride the Express as long.

Having only flown through Malpensa once some time ago and having never used Express, I just don't know what to expect. Am I giving myself enough time to get to the train? Too much time?

Thank you for your thoughts.
