Mallorca in January

Can anyone advise about staying in the small villages (Fornalutx, Soller, Deia, etc) on the North side of Mallorca in early January? We (two parents, kids ages 14,12 and 8) will be there from Dec 30 to Jan 4th and want to stay in a small village. Many hotels are closed but we are booked at C'an Reus in Fornalutx at the moment. We are ok with the limited activity associated with traveling off season but don't want to be in a ghost town! All advice and tips welcome. Thanks.
