Malaga to Granada and then to Seville

Malaga to Granada and then to Seville
Hi,
We are two older adults and a child (20's) spending Dec 25 and Dec 26 in Malaga.
We would like to go to Granada for one night (27th)
And then to Seville for 3 nights (28th-30th)
After that we are off to Barcelona for 3 nights (31st-2nd)
Questions:-
We envisage having fairly heavy bags to carry which is not ideal since we are in our 50's and 60's and wouldn't say too fit ! So considering the short time we have in each place...
(1) What is the best way to travel Malaga - Granada ?
(2) What is the best way to travel Granada - Seville ?
(3) What is the best way to travel Seville - Barcelona ?
(4) A good accomodation option right in the hear of Granada ? What areas should I look at.
(5) Is the Alahambra worth a visit ? We are hoping to see the Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque in Istanbul prior to coming to Spain
(6) What else can we do for 1 day in Granada ? Should we skip Granada and do 4 days in Seville instead ?

Malaga - Granada is 90 mins with the ALSA bus. Granada to Sevilla is also best with bus (some 3 hours) unless the new train line has been opened by then.
Sevilla-Barcelona is either 5 hours from city center to city center with the high speed AVE Train or 1h 40 mins flight.
The Alhambra is very much worth a visit, no question about it at all.
I would have spent a couple of days more in Málaga. Málaga at Christmastime is special, and lots of things going on after the 25th. People travel from far to experience Christmas in Málaga:

On the 28th of December Málaga celebrates the annual verdiales competition, the flamenco inspired local music-, song and dance culture from the mountain villages to the North and east of the city. The festival starts at noon in the Recinto Ferial in Puento de la Torre, some 35 min bus ride from Alameda Principal in the center of town (bus no. 21) or 15 mins by taxi. http://www.andalucia.com/festival/verdiales.htm

5) yes, that is the main reason many people go there. If you aren't really that interested in it, I don't know why you are going to Granada as it makes your itinerary much more complicated given its location
6) as I said, I would if you aren't that interested in the Alhambra. It's a lot easier to travel by train from Malaga to Seville, for example, than logistics when you throw Granada into the mix as the train line is under construction now, plus just its general location which you can see on a map. What would be convenient would be to add a stop in Cordoba instead, as it is right on the rail line between Malaga and Sevilla. In fact, a lot of trains between those two cities require you change trains in Cordoba, although there are some direct. So if you aren't that interested in the Alhambra, instead I'd add in one overnioght in Cordoba and one more day in Sevilla.
You can get a nonstop flight SVQ-BCN on 12/31 for only 55 euro on vueling airlines (budget arm of Iberia), add a bit to check bags -- flight takes 1.5 hrs. Both airports are small and not far out of the city. I would book fairly soon given that is holiday period. The AVE train between Sevilla and Barcelona takes 5:30-6 hrs, will probably cost around 45 euro but I don't know if fares will be higher that date.

Yes, of course, you must visit the Alhambra in Granada. It is the most important and most visited monument in Spain. You could also visit the cathedral and the tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella. From there take the Alsa bus to Cordoba to see the Mezquita and then the train to Seville. I would fly to BCN.
