Malaga - EuropeCar Rental Return

If you want to return your car in Malaga at the main train station and look at EuropeCar's web site you will be told they are located on ESPLANADA DE LA ESTACION S/N. If you drive there you will find no signs anywhere that say EUROPECAR, or RENTAL RETURNS, or anything similar to what you would normally see at an airport and will find yourself in the usual traffic jams.

What you need to do is park your rental in the parking lot of the Barcelo Hotel that is attached to the station, on the other side of the station from Esplanada, then walk through the hotel into the train station and tell the agent at the Europecar office what space you put the car in and turn in your key. The exit from the hotel will lead you to a hall where there are many other rental companies too so you won't get lost.

In the Barcelo lot there are NO signs that indicate Europecar uses that lot nor any signs telling you where to find them. You just have to know this process.

Hope this will save some one the grief it caused us.
