Making phone calls in Croatia

Jump to last reply

Hi, we will be going to Croatia this year as part of a six week trip to Europe. Unfortunately we only have a week in Croatia. We will taking our unlocked phones from home and will put in a prepaid sim. As we will be using viber to contact friends and family back home for free we will only need to use the credit on our phone to contact apartment owners and only in Croatia as we are staying in hotels in the other countries.

My question is this and I hope it doesn’t sound stupid as I am not very tech savvy. When we contact the apartment owners and say the number is +385 98 123 456…Do we only dial the last 6 digits? I am a bit uncertain because we will have international sim in our phone. I am thinking because it’s an international sim that we might have to dial the country code and area code even though we are in Croatia. I hope this doesn’t sound silly.

I appreciate any help.
