Major event close to Sevilla on August 11

Jump to last reply

National Dance Prize winner Rocío Molina and fabulous flamenco singer Rosario La Tremendita perform in the quite spectacular outdoor 4000 seats Foro Iberoamericano de La Rábida, just outside Huelva on Saturday, August 11 at 10.30pm.

I've seen them together six times the past five years, and I can almost guarantee that this will be a night to remember. Here are the two together on Andalusian TV one day before flamenco was named part of the world cultural heritage in 2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYaY4zZgTas

The venue is an attraction in itself:

Tickets online through El Corte Inglés: http://www.elcorteingles.es/entradas/programas/Espectaculo.asp?numEspectaculo=201100568
or after 7pm at the venue the same day.

Sevilla to Huelva is 1h 15 mins by bus. The bus is 8€ and leaves every 30 mins from the Plaza de Armas bus station, ten minutes walking north-west of the Cathedral.
