Greg, la Zarzuela has better views than more classical theatres such as the Teatro Real. It doesn´t have the typical bell form.

Having said that, I usually go for "butaca de patio" or the central second stage seats. I try not to buy "laterales" unless it is a concert I´m dying to hear. In this case, I´d say A, B and C. For "butaca de patio", prices A and B only mean nearer and further away from the stage.

If I am buying butaca de patio, I like to get a seat near the central corridor, just in case I have been working late and I´m in a hurry to arrive.

I ended up getting C. For a dance performance, it was important to see from the stage from as central position as possible since the choreography was meant to be seen from the center. People on any lateral seats, D,F,G eventually moved over to empty seats in central location. For this type of performance, I would say the A on Primer Piso would have been the best seat to see the stage and the see choreography on flat stage having performance from the front to the back of the stage.

Hope you went before Friday, the baile genious Rocío Molina performed together with Olga Pericet the first seven nights at Teatro de la Zarzuela in the piece they choreographed together for the Ballet Nacional (Suite Sevilla). Yes, the Ballet performance was Ángeles Caídos and Suite Sevilla on March 29 where Rocío Molina and Olga Pericet danced a duet Statera El quilibrio del biend y el mal, ua simbiosis liberadora in the Ángeles Caídos as guest artists. I have never seen Flamenco and Modern ballet integrated this way.

Wish I was there, have seen Molina nine times the last four years and each time is a new revelation. Here in here latest works, Vinática and Danzaora which I was lucky too see last summer:
