LUXURIOUS PAMPERING in PARIS

Hello Ladies. I'm posting this because my girlfriend is a total workaholic and she needs some serious pampering in Paris on our vacation. What's the most luxurious thing you have done in Paris? I want her to feel like a princess for a week, before she returns to her very stressful job. Thanks.

Kenzo has a massage spa on Rue du Pont Neuf...the site looks AMAZING though its a bit pricey.

The Time Out Paris website has a list of spas/beauty salons in Paris also, like Lancome etc.

A long weekend trip with a suite at the Crillon and a chauferred limo for the entire time. No hunting for taxis (esp the day it rained) just someone always waiting for you, carrying the packages, suggesting a stop for tea etc.

(I'm usually irritated by limos because I use them for work - and half the time the drivers aren't where they're supposed to be, or are late, etc. I tend to use a cab if I can. But this was a real limo - from an upper crusty company - and it was pure delight.)

I'd get her a room at the Meurice in Paris and let her luxuriate at the Caudalie Spa.

Sorry for being a guy, but ....
I would book this luxury houseboat:

Nothing like water to relax you. And for dining on the deck, talk with Fauchon.

Is this to be physical hedonism or Intelctual? My wife enjoyed the art galleries as much or more than the shopping....

Oh, I've always wanted to stay on the La Vie en Rose, Dave! That would be a luxurious experience. I understand the owners even cook breakfast for a person?

I've always wanted to stay at the Meurice, too. According to Expatriate Paris... by Arlen Hansen, it was the preffered hotel for European royalty and was where Igor Stravinsky used to stay. Either next door or a few doors down is the salon de thé, Angélina, and of course the Jardin des Tuileries is right across the street with the Louvre being just a bit up the street.

Happy hunting, jellybelly! What a super guy you are to do this for your gf!!
