All I can remember about Gare St Lazare is a chain cafe directly across the street. I can't remember the name. We just had coffee, but the people at the next table had different dishes and tarts and they looked fine.

The stations themselves have cafés and places where you can pick up a nice sandwich or salad for the ride. I always do this before boarding a train in France, though I seldom leave from those stations.

Topping-
Bcity, don't know if you've already left, but I checked my travel notes, it was Cafe Brioche, right outside the rear entrance to the station. Like StCirq, I do not usually leave the station, but this was close & easy.
