Luggage Storage - Windsor?

I really would like to go to Windsor Castle. I have a late flight out of Heathrow so it looks doable that day, but not really feasible if I have to take the train to Windsor and then come back to London to pick up luggage at my hotel before heading to the airport. Anyone got any suggestions on storing luggage in Windsor?

Thanks!

You know what I might do in this situation. I'd go to LHR and leave my bags at Left Luggage then take a bus to Windsor.

But - how much luggage are you talking about? If just carry on sized (actually fits in a sizer box) there is a cloak room at the Castle. But they are very strict about the size. There is no other place to leave bags in Windsor unless you call one of the hotels and see (beg) if one will hold it for you - but I wouldn't count on that.

It's a basic 20" carryon but I am not sure the risk of trying to check it is worth it.

I will look into the LHR left luggage option. Didn't think about them having one as my local airport closed that option down years ago. Thanks!

AFAIK there is Left Luggage in each LHR terminal.

The 20 incher should be OK at the Castle but I'd maybe not risk it either because there can always be temporary security alerts/luggage bans.
