Luggage Storage in Rome

My sister and I will be travelling to Rome, Naples and Capri in late April. We will be spending 8 days in Rome and then heading to Naples for 4 days and then off to Capri for 2 days, then heading back to Rome to leave for home. We would like to leave some of our luggage in Rome, while travelling to Naples and Capri. Any suggestions on where we can leave our luggage.

Thank you

If you are staying at a hotel in Rome and going back to that same hotel for your final night, they might store it for you. Some bigger hotels have luggage storage rooms and I've done that before. I wouldn't leave anything of value. Your other options are the luggage room at Rome Termini or the luggage storage at the airport (would require a trek to the airport though). It's down a level from the trains in Termini.

I'm not sure I would use that service. I'm a bit wary of a business that doesn't list a physical address. If you had any problems, your only recourse is trying to get them on the phone.

I hadn't realised you were even thinking of using them?

The address is on their Facebook page, however the whole idea - surely - is that they come to you... rather than vice versa!

Thank you very much for the information.....will definitely consider using the bon-bags service.

Last night I was looking at the option of maybe flying back to Toronto from Naples. If I was to do so, we will need to store our luggage in Naples, while to went to Capri for 2 days. Any suggestions for luggage store for 2 - 3 day, while we were visiting the islands.

Thank you!!

Same deal as the Rome train station. Hours might be a little different.

You could cut down on how much luggage you're taking. I spent 3 weeks in Italy last Fall with a 20" rolling bag and a carry on/shoulder bag.
If you can't carry/lift it - don't take it!

I won't personally go to Termini. Last year we had a terrible experience, waiting more than hour to store our luggage.
Then we discovered there were other luggage storages not far from Termini station.

pcorriero, you are new here, so welcome. You responded to a three year old thread, but maybe you could tell us about the other luggage storage you've discovered.
