Has anyone any info on the Walter Hotel in Lugano? It was recommended a long time ago.
I would like a room with views, etc. and not too expensive. Thank you.

The HOTEL WALTER AU LAC, Pza. Rezzonico, 7 is a three star hotel, garni with 43
rooms. It is located at the lake shore
with the traffic free old town behind.
Some rooms naturally face the lake, others do not. see <www.walteraulac.ch>

also about two blocks from the bottom of the funicluaire going down
from the railroad station, and there
are plenty of ristorantes and shops
in this area, including the Italian
ristorante, Sayanora.
