Although I never had the privilege of meeting her in person, I always felt her persona in the lounge was classy and kind. She will be missed.
That is so sad. We had a lot of "conversations" here and I know I'll miss her comments.

Oh, what a shocker. I'm devastated. Out of the blue. I have written a few recent emails to Nancy and when I didn't get a response, I began to think he worst. Not like her. So very sad!
Fodors and the world has lost a kind and gentle lady who was undoubtedly the most pleasant of all posters. My heartfelt condolences to her daughter and family. I will write to Nancy's address knowing her daughter will be corresponding at some time soon.
Bless her sweet memory. Truly a person of unmatchable class and love for her fellow Fodorites.
Stuart Tower...on this saddest of days.

My father told me as a little girl
not to be frightened by the thunder
because it was the angels bowling.
When it rained, he said the angels were crying for someone.
Yesterday, It rained here.

I suspect some may think this thread is about Italy
rather than Nancy whom I refer to as Luv.

She was so kind. I feel quite sad about this.
