Looking for scenic drive between Liechtenstein and Salzburg

We'll be driving from Liechtenstein to Salzburg in late May and are looking for possible routes that would be more scenic/dramatic. We'll have 2 families in a van. We plan on spending a night along the way and doing some sighseeing as we go (alpine coaster, small hikes, etc). Any dramatic mountain passes that we could add to the drive? We don't mind getting off main roads. We'll probably end up spending the night near the Zell am Ziller valley

Most of them may still be closed.
In May, I would rather check the area between Bregenzerwald - Lechtal - Schwangau - Ehrwald - Garmisch - Walchensee - Achensee and reach the Zillelrtal from there. You may then drive via Gerlos - Krimml to Zell am See.

If you can spend a few days, you may also drive throough Switzerland and Italy:
Vaduz - Lutzisteig - Jenins vineyards - Davos - Fluela Pass - Scuol thermal spa - Nauders - Reschen Pass - Gluorn (smallest walled city of the world) - Meran - Bozen (Oetzi Museum) - Brixen - Bruneck - Toblach - Lienz - Felbertauern road - Zell am See.

I was also going to suggest Nauders, Rechen Pass, then through the Vinschgau/Val Venosta, Meran, around Bolzano then either up to Innsbruck then Salzburg or across and through the Dolomites Ortisei to Cortina to Lienz, then over the Grossglockner to Zell am See and Salzburg. These would need a night or two at the minimum.

The route via Nauders, Reschen Pass, Val Venosta/Vinschgau, etc. has some fantastic alpine scenery and in between Reschen Pass and Meran, plenty of medieval castles. Our favorite is Castle Churburg. The old medieval preserved, non touristy walled town is actually named Glurns / Glorenza. Everything in the Sud Tirol and Dolomites has a German name and an Italian name.
