looking for local travel agency for Italy,Vienna and Prague
My husband, daughter and I are traveling to Europe June 5. We want to spend about 5 days in Italy, doing a cooking and food tour and then travel to Vienna and Prague. We are looking for local travel agents who can show us the more unique, local places to stay and eat and help with our ground transportation.

We used IC Bellagio for our trip (two couples with two teen daughters) last summer in Venice and Bellagio and thought they were good. They found a knowledgeable guide for a day and a half of city walking tours in Venice, and for Bellagio they got us a private boat with excellent guide for a lake tour of Lake Como, and booked us on a 10-course Italian lunch under the trees on an island we all enjoyed. They also arranged van transportation/driver from Bellagio to our next destination in Switzerland, streamlining our trip. They also found our hotel in Venice and made restaurant reservations for us. Friends who took a trip to Italy last fall also used them and had a good experience. They were very responsive by email. We worked with a woman named Greta Mauri, Itinerary Coordinator.

I am hoping to find the same sort of resource for our trip this summer (same group) to Prague, Vienna and Amsterdam. That's why I opened your post. If you have found someone for Prague or Vienna, please post!

We live in Vienna, and I follow this blog for ideas to use on our own. The publisher of the site also offers custom-designed tours.

Sorry, bakerstreet, I can be of no help for Amsterdam. For Prague I read several blogs, the only one offering tours, though, is focused on food. https://www.tasteofprague.com/pragueblog/

We are just back from Prague and before we left found a FABULOUS tour guide company there. We ended up booking two days of city walking tours and a daytrip outside the city for a concentration camp tour with this company. We had the same guide every day and she was knowledgeable and friendly -- it was great. The company is called Personal Prague Guide. It's a company that Rick Steves recommends, and it gets great reviews on tripadvisor. I would use them again in a nanosecond.
