Looking for B&B in Rome...

My husband and I are going to be in Rome in May and we are looking for a B&B with a balcony view for around $125-150. Looking for something central, we are 33 and 34, so around some night life. We also leave out of Rome to home. Any suggestions for the area to stay in? We would even be willing to spend more if the place was right.

Balcony and view in a central part of Rome I think will cost more than what you are asking. However, there may be a good B & B someone knows about with those requirements. Good luck.

I'd advise that you check out tripadvisor.com, particularly if you're set on your budget. Like francophile says, I don't think you're going to find such luxury for that price. We paid 150 euros/night (about $180) for a great B&B near the Forum and Colosseum with no terrace (Nicolas Inn), and it was a great price.

I think the Pantheon View B&B might work for you, but it has mixed reviews. I seem to recall at least one room has a terrace, though.

Have stayed at the Casa Della Palma and loved it. here is the site address: https://www.casadellapalma.com/

we'll be staying there again...! They speak English, but if you speak Italian, it is a lovely neighborhood. We do, so really loved exploring the area. There is a lovely trattoria called Marcelo's within walking distance that we really enjoyed.

Check out the Daphne Inn-Trevi and Veneto (I am staying at Daphne-Trevi in April)-they both get rave reviews on trip advisor & venere and I read about them in Conde N'aste traveler and Travel & Leisure. My price was $180/night w/en-suite bathroom. Their website is www.daphne-rome.com. They help you with an itinerary when you arrive and give you a cell phone to use while in Rome.

I'm staying at the Daphne Inn in March based on a wonderful review in the Washington Post and good reviews on TripAdvisor. I also talked to a fellow fodorite who stayed there recently and said it was great.

aleericm: we stayed in the Living ROom Plus room, which is right on the first floor, and has french doors out into the garden. We really loved it. Buon viaggio!
