Looking for an agriturismo in Val d'Orcia area
The place outside Montepulciano that we always stay at is booked when we want to go (end of August). I have been looking for other options.
This is what we want:
1. Needs a pool
2. We like being able to eat dinner in without having to cook it ourselves. It is nice to have breakfast offered as well.
3. Has to allow kids (we have a 9 year-old)
We really like the Val d'Orcia area, but would be willing to branch out.

Thanks! I am looking into some of these. The Sant Antonio place doesn't have meals unless you are a party of 14, so that isn't ideal for us. Terre di Nano looks great, but doesn't have availability when we want to go. I am looking into La Crociona.
Our normal place is booked. They have a more expensive option available, which we can take. I figured this was a good time to try out some other place, since we do have a few issues with our standby. Things must be picking up for the tourism industry in Italy, since we have never had an issue booking for end of August/early September when we start this early.

My favorite place is Fonte Bertusi, located in a beautiful setting 3 km from Pienza. I've stayed there about 8 times and will continue to return. The property is well maintained, beautiful, and the owners are terrific. Their breakfast is wonderful. They do not offer dinner, but each apartment has a kitchen and the nearby (a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive) agriturismo, La Fonte, offers homemade dinners each night. You couldn't ask for a more perfect location.
