Don't want to sound uppity, but.......this might be our only bit of luxury during our 3 1/2 month trip to Europe. Therefore, it needs to be absolutely perfect!
I'm looking for advice from genuine travellers (not Riad owners themselves) who have first hand experience in staying at one of these places.
Family of four (with children 10yr & 7yrs) in February - 3 nights only
Because we only have limited time, we want to be in the action - very close walking distance from main markets, shopping district, places to eat good food, see the sights etc. We want somewhere that's very clean & well appointed. Somewhere that is in the action, but feels like it's not once you're behind closed doors - if you know what I mean? It would be a bonus if we were booked into somewhere that offered 'free' airport transfers and perhaps even breakfast or some meals included.
I'm not mentioning our budget - if you wouldn't mind sharing your experience, I'll make up our mind in that regard in time. English speaking operators would also be a bonus.
Many thanks

Not sure why you posted this on Europe forum and tagged France, Italy, and UK; I think you want the Africa forum.
Yeah, I know. Did this because I'm looking for advice from travellers who have visited those countries aswell. We are tying Morocco into our European trip, therefore want travellers who did similar if possible.
Will still come up in a search under 'Morocco'
"Will still come up in a search under 'Morocco'"
BUT - most folks on the Africa forum would not include 'Europe' in their search criteria.
Sorry - but to ask questions about Morocco on a thread tagged UK/France/Italy makes no sense AT ALL . . . .
I've also tagged Morocco
Reason I've done it this way is that someone travelling through Europe and posting under the Europe Forum, who has already been to Morocco, might see my post and be able to help out. Morocco is listed in many travel guides under the banner of 'Europe'. Can't see a problem.....
Another reason is that sometimes businesses disguise themselves as posters and bombard questions such as this with advertising. I'm trying to get an honest opinion.
If it's ok with you, I think I'll leave it here.....no reason why I can't fish for some info this way is there? Do you have any advice on the main question of my original post?
have a look here

Thnaks for that.
I highly recommend La Maison Arabe, though I'm not certain our definition of luxury is the same. The American Ambassador to Morocco was there the last time I was, though, so I suppose it qualifies. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the place. My trip report is on the Slow Travel website. If you go and are interested, sign up for cooking lessons.
Hi there!
as an hotel owner,i would for sure not talk about me be found it clearer to say it!
You may have a look on trip&booking with trying to read between the lines and may be contact in mp the travelers supposed to have done the post..to be sure they did stay!and of course, first belive the traveler's pictures..and don't trust any revew which looks like the ny times post..or strting by"paradise in the chaos".."lost paradise." or this kind of staff..!
i would any way recommend for myself a great guy name's Peter from dar zaman which is really cool place with out beeing luxury.
Cheers!oliver.
