London vs Italy

I'm going on a multicity vacation next summer and at first I was planning on going to London paris and brussels but as I was reading, I read that Italy might also be a good place to go and also Amsterdam. I was just wondering if anyone had some advice on where it would be budget friendly but also more worth it to see, Thanks!

How long do you have and what are you interested in seeing?

Your question has no answer in a vacuuum. And that's all you've provided.

What means "budget-friendly" in lodging and meals daily?

Are you a blank slate or do you have interests?

Are you fully weatherproof or do you prefer certain climates?

And please endeavor to state when you'd like to go (summer could be June, July or August). You have three live threads and seemingly no direction.

Use what's available to YOU to narrow your choices - like Fodors.com.

All of them are worthwhile - for some people. Only you can know what is best for you.

When exactly are you going? How many weeks do you have? What is your budget - either overall or for lodging (biggest expense after air fare). If lodging how much per night and what are you expecting - hostel? Cheap and cheerful hotel? Moderate hotel with more amenities?

Without more info from you there's little we can do.

OK, you have three questions posted within a hour or so, each completely different questions about completely different trips.

I hope you are reading the answers.

Budget. Low means different things to different people. To people who can afford several hundred a night, a couple of hundred would be low. That might be high for someone who can afford only a hundred a night. You need to know exactly how much money you have to spend.

You also need to know exactly how much time you have available. That and budget will affect planning. A budget that allows a comfortable 12 days may be too tight for 3 weeks. In 2 weeks, you might manage 3 - 4 places, while 3 weeks would allow 5 - 6. Budget will also affect how much you can move around.

When you go is important for weather and costs of airfare and hotels.

Also, what are your major interests? Museums, landscape, food, architecture, history, iconic sights and buildings, etc.?

One way to start. Each of you choose the one place you have always dreamed most about seeing, the one place that, if you never saw another, is the one you would each choose.

So, get that info together. Post it and people can help.
