London New Years Eve
I am coming to London for New Years Eve this year and really want some advice. I would love to go to a party that has a great DJ, but I know those aen't all decided yet. So, where should I stay, which area? any good running parties? I don't want to do the tourist thing, just have a great time. Please help....

I'm sorry to break it to you but New Years Eve in London is absolutely horrid.
Only go into the centre if you have a ticket for an event (and these sell out fast - although obviously not yet). Otherwise it's a miserable trek around the street walking past venues that sold out months ago.
If you could be more specific, maybe we can help.

Thank you. I don't know that much about London so I really guess I am just wondering what area would be best to stay in? Also, the events you were talking about, where should I look to get a ticket to one of these, and which ones should I look for? Thank you so much for your help.

I really would like to find a hotel in an area where I will be close to shopping and restaurants and bars. I don't know the different areas that well so when I look at them online, I;m not quite sure what I am looking at. I know it will be later in the year when I decide where to actually go For NYE but I would like to stay nearby. I don't have a set limit on money but I would like to try to spend around $300.00 USD or less per night if thats possible. I hope this helps
