London Hotel-- between Earl's Court and Gloucester Road tube stations

Jump to last reply

Have been to Europe many times but never to London! Found a reasonably priced, highly rated hotel in Kensington. (Am I understanding right that this is not the same as the more desirable South Kensington? What's the difference? )

Basically I am looking for a place to sleep that's clean, convenient, and safe in an interesting area. Would this be a decent location?? It looks like it's a straight shot on the tube to and from LHR which is a plus.

Also was thinking Bloomsbury looked like a good spot, so any hotel suggestions there are welcome. Do not want to spend more than about $180 a night for a single room.
