I'm hoping someone on this forum is able to provide specifics to quell a little travelling anxiety. ![]()
I will arrive by Air Transat at London Gatwick 0800 August 28th, and must make my way to London St. Pancreas. I am en route via rail to Bruxelles Midi at 1257.
Could someone please provide specific directions, cost , and time required for this journey.
Your assistance is much appreciated.

Trip Ideas
Trains from Gatwick Airport to London St Pancras run every 15 minutes, with a journey time of about 46 minutes.
www.nationalrail.co.uk
Only some of the trains go direct to St. Pancras.
The 9:16 First Capital Connect goes direct to St. Pancras.
The 8:56 Southern train goes to Victoria causing a transfer by Tunr.
The 9:05 Gatwick Express also goes to Victoria.
You need to know which train to take..Piece of cake. Look at the departure board.
Thanks to you both!
Jan
Just so you know, it's St. Pancras, not "St. Pancreas"
Hi Gordon_R,
Oooops! Thanks for the correction.
Jan
One more thing. I don't want to assume anything. I believe that I am to go to St. Pancras International, vs. Domestic, considering I am headed to Bruxelles Midi?
Jan
There will be signs for the Eurostar.
Here's a map of the station concourse:
http://www.stpancras.com/UploadDocs/Contents/Documents/undercroft%20level%20map%2026%20september%2007.pdf
The exit from the Gatwick (First Capital Connect) train will bring you up into the area shown as the Market. Just walk down the Arcade and turn left into the Eurostar check-in (you need to go through about 30 minutes before the departure time).
If you have plenty of time in hand, the cafés and shops in the Arcade would be a bit less stressful than the Eurostar lounge, which has only limited services.
Patrick,
THANK YOU! The map is especially helpful.
