London for Christmas Break

Jump to last reply

After much searching and deliberation it seems the best match for our schedule and budget for Christmas vacation is London.

I haven't been to London in 17 years (and I think it was a Feb or March visit) and my kids have never been( I was pregnant with my 16 year old on my last visit!)

We were all just in Scotland and Ireland last summer (2014.)

So....my question....good idea? Too cold and rainy?? We probably have 10 days or so. Would love to not stay in the city the entire trip. Any good place to spend a few nights via train?

Any good links to itineraries? Kids are 13 and 16 and amazing travelers. Love history, culture, adventure, and food!

Thanks!!
