London first trip when in September?

Jump to last reply

With son beeing away to college we desided to use September for travell. We never been in London, always wanted to go, friend mentioned that now is a good time since pound is down. So we need to plan it. I was thinking September (not end of August) in hope that prices will be cheaper with kids back to school. Ok, now, is any time in September is good in terms of weather, like rain, cold? Maybe we will go to Edinburg, how is the weather there? Is second part of September cheaper ?(flights - I didn't see it though), hotels? How many days should we allocate (no more then 10-12 max)?
Thanks a lot for ideas, suggestions
Mariya
