London: Chelsea Flower week: National Garden Schemes coach bus tours

Jump to last reply

I am trying to find out about an activity in London during Chelsea Flower Week which I enjoyed several years ago. (It is a separate activity but also garden-related.) I know I heard about it on this forum, probably before the days of registration here. So far I haven't been able to find out how to do it again, or if it still exists!!

Some years ago, maybe 10, I was in London during Chelsea Flower Show week and went on a wonderful tour of private London gardens, open on behalf of/through the National Garden Scheme. I think these tours were probably operated BY the London Garden scheme -- a coach [bus], driver, and host/guide took us to maybe 3 London gardens in a day. It wasn't a commercial event, it was definitely hosted by the charity itself or supporters of the charity.

There were such tours scheduled for each of the days in the week. I went to the one in North London.

I am hoping that whoever told me about it in the first place may pop up here again, or that somebody knows how to find the original thread!
