London at Easter?

Jump to last reply

Trying to firm up an itinerary for our 4 weeks in Paris/ UK in March/April next year.
We have booked flights into and out of Paris and my original thought was that we could spend 5 days in Paris, train to London, pick up a car, travel around & up to Scotland for 2 weeks then back to London for 5 days before taking the train back to Paris to fly home.
Now I've realized that would put us in London for Easter. Will this be horrendously more expensive for accommodation etc ? Would we be better to spend our time in London straight after Paris and spend Easter in a quieter neck of the woods?
