London and Italy (Rome and Milan) trip report
I last left off at the end of our London leg of the trip and have started to write about our 5 days in Italy.
More to come. Comments welcome (be kind--the trip was 5 months ago!). Thank you!

I just started to read your blog for your stay in Rome and was pleased to see that you stayed at one of the apartments through Hotel Mozart. I booked one of their rooms at the Vivaldi Luxury rooms. I chose it because of location and ratings too. But you have me thinking that maybe I should rent one of their apartments. Would you let me know which apartment you stayed in, the view you had and anything else I should know?
We are staying in Rome for 5 nights. I am also going to read your blog more thoroughly to assist me with our trip. Waiting for you to post days 3, 4, and 5!

Hi maureen_16! I'm so glad I can be of help! We stayed in the Ripetta suite and our view was of the via di Ripetta and we were across from an art academy. Not a terribly busy street traffic-wise and not that noisy, at least in February. There was a lot of space and we felt it was great value. Free wifi, breakfast included, one block away from the via del Corso and a couple of blocks from the piazza del Popolo and Spanish Steps. We would 100% recommend it and would absolutely stay there again! Let me know if I can be of any more help! I'll try to get at least day 3 done today if I can!

Saved your link to my PC - am looking forward to the next installment!
Question regarding apartments through Hotel Mozart - I'm planning our 2016 Rome adventure and want to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel....we are a party of 4, do you happen to know if there are any two-bedroom apartments available at this hotel?
I like the idea of the apartment being managed by the hotel - it's the first time I've seen this type of arrangement so far in my research.
I've been researching AirBNB and SleepinItaly - but, like you, don't really want to have to deal with an apartment owner, cleaning, etc. A hotel is a benefit from that perspective.
Thanks!
Judy

We just returned from our trip to Florence, Rome and Milan. We stayed in the Ripetta apartment overlooking the Via Ripetta through the Hotel Mozart. I'm so glad I happened upon your trip report and changed our reservations to the apartment from one of the hotel rooms at Hotel Mozart. The apartment was great! Thanks so much for telling me about it. Our stay at the apartment really added to our trip!
@judy_rosa As you can see from above we stayed in the Ripetta apartment. The apartment is. 1 bedroom apartment with the bathroom in the bedroom. While, the apartment can accommodate 4 people I don't believe it's ideal for 2 couples. The hotel makes up the sofa in the living room for one person and brings in a single bed - more like a what a hotel would bring in as a rollaway. That sleeping arrangement is more conducive for children. We loved the hotel and its location. The apartment was a very short walking distance to the hotel. The hotel has 2 other apartments so you might want to inquire as to their layout. Enjoy your travels!
