I don't think nevertooold has been to Spain yet, or any of the town you're considering, but you are well advised not to try to do Granada as a day trip, in part because touring the Alhambra at night is something you should not miss.
Seeing the major sights in Cordoba is easily done as a day trip from Sevilla, which comes aiive at night and has many attractions that would want to make you spend nights there.
I would suggest booking accommodations in both Granada and Sevilla.
You don't say whether you are using public transportation or having a car, or where you coming from or headed next.

absolutely agree. the only day trip in my book here would be cordoba from sevilla, but i would be more tempted to stay somewhere before cordoba and do it on way TO sevilla.
do not miss carmona. very nice low key town near sevilla.
and with a car i would be tempted to stay just at edge of granada with parking, and take a taxi to the alhambra.
