Lodging Recommendations in Burgundy

Jump to last reply

My wife and I are headed back to France next year in September and will be exploring the Burgundy region the first week of our four week vacation. This is a new region of France for us and we are excited to explore more of the country we have fallen in love with.

We have already done some research with the focus being the area around Beaune and Dijon. We are looking for a self-catering accommodation (gite or apartment) with a pool that is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of a village or town with some basic services available (boulangerie, market and restaurants) and relatively close to Beaune or Dijon (10-15km). We will have a car so transportation is not an issue.

If you have any suggestions that are even close to our "perfect" scenario we would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance!

Steve
