If after searching you decide to go a little more for scenic views and a bit more comfort, I can recommend the main lodgings on waterside....Hotel Jezero (lake). I've been twice to Plitvice over the past decade and stayed there both times and we've been very satisfied. It's restaurant is quite good also. There is a food market within a short walk.

Be sure to get room with balcony..most have them. Here are some old Plitvice pics with one of the Jezero Hotel, also. Just scroll down to the lake pics. Some of the others are back to 1970's and 1980's (including Sarajevo and Mostar, with a dramatic magazine pic of the destroyed old bridge. (yes, we had snow in October! No mater where you stay, Plitvice will not be disappointing. Enjoy your visit.
Thanks.. great photos!

We stayed last month at the Hotel Plitvice. Great location, less than 100 meters from the Park Entrance to the middle part of the park. Very convenience to go on either the upper or lower lakes. Nice view and very good restaurant for dinner. Breakfast (as part of the hotel deal) leaves one wanting more.
