My husband and I are looking for inexpensive, long-term (a month or two) lodging in Slovenia. We are used to staying at youth hostels or in the extra rooms of locals. Any ideas?

Jolie, the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) ph. 224 222 is well worth visiting, it has about 40 private rooms on their list only a handfull are in the centre of Ljubljana, most will require a bus trip. They also have eight apartments for 2 or 3 people.
