Lodging for very early morning flight out of Fumicino?
If we stayed in the city and took a cab from the Termini area, how long do you think that would take on a Saturday morning, and how much would it be likely to cost around 4:30am?
If we wanted to stay closer to the airport, what kind of options are there?
Thanks (again)

It would cost 48€ from central Rome. It's a set fee from Rome to the airport.

You can book a limo for about the same price (cheaper than a taxi if there are only 2-3).

At that hour, you can get to the airport in about 30 minutes. We've had early morning taxi bookings, and they've been reliable. AFAIK, the fare from central Rome to the airport is a fixed rate of 40 EUR any time of day or day of the week.
My choice is always to stay in Rome on the last night, but you'd save 20 minutes of taxi time if you stayed in the town of Fiumicino.

There are well priced hotels in Isola Sacra, just minutes from FCO. We liked the Golden Tulip, which used to be the Hotel Club Isola Sacra. Rooms are about 90€ per night and they have a free shuttle to the airport.
