I will be taking a church group of 4 adults/10 children in Jul/Aug to London (2 days), Paris (4 days), Rome (5 days), Florence (3 days), Venice (2 days), and Nice (1 day). Can anyone recommend how I can get lodging in the range of $15-$20 per day per person? We will be traveling by rail and would need to be within walking distance from the train station. This is new to us. I plan to review hostels from the net, but someone might be able to recommend one. My appreciation for your help.

Oh my gosh, just reading your note made me feel completely exhausted. I am taking only 3 kids to Europe at the pleasantly relaxed pace of two countries in 3 weeks and the planning for that has been a long odyssey, let me tell you. A few suggestions: Consider renting 2 or three large camping vans and camping. Or, consider contacting a travel agent and see if they can put together some kind of a package deal for you at group rates. You don't say what ages the kids are. I just read a good book called Take Your Kids to Europe. Author's last name Harriman I think. Excellent suggestions for multiple ways of doing a trip like that (although not that big a group), and how to survive without anybody losing their sanity.
