Location of Rome Hotel - Trastevere or Via Nazionale/Barberini/Veneto Area?

As a long time and many-time Rome traveler, I now have a choice between several B&B's in the above two areas and I wonder which might be the best choice these days. I usually like to stay in the Campo di Fiori/Navona/Pantheon area but unable to find something suitable for my dates this time. Any ideas and suggestions?
