Liza Minnelli appearing at the Royal Albert Hall in London

If anyone is interested, Liza Minnelli will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall the first week of April. I recall that there are at least 4 performances, and tickets are available in all price ranges. Tickets can be purchased online at the Royal Albert Hall website.

Is this an ad? For a has-been singer?

Poor Liza, having to go on the road to make a couple of bucks so she can pay the rent. She is reliving the life of her mother. Poor Liza. I just hope she has lost some weight because the last time I saw her she was enormous. Such a gifted actress and she just let her life slip because of her drug and alcohol addictions. Poor Liza. Well, she is a nice lady, I wish her luck.

She is still one of the most talented performers around, and much too easy of a target to pick on.

The top price for Liza is roughly $150 per seat. My God, the woman has not done anything in over 10 years that is worth remembering.

I recently saw her on So Graham Norton and she seemed OK to me.... at a distance, she could almost be mistaken for her mother. Isn't Liza Hollywood royalty anyway?

My friends in LON suggested that on one of the nights when I will be in LON, and so will Liza, that we go see what's she's still about. Granted we didn't opt for the $150 tickets, but hey, why not see what she can (or can't) do? We can all live in the past; Cabaret is still one of my all-time favorite movies--ever. I am looking forward to the whole deal, including going to the Royal Albert Hall and also reading the reviews. (Boy, will they be watching her closely with pen and pad in hand!)<BR>Ron
