Stayed at the Chateau Sully 4 years ago. Lovely room, fantastic dinners, fabulous experience. It was a wonderful base for exploring Normandy.

There is a laudatory thread on the Château de Cottun called "Great Normandy B&B."

Probably because no one has stayed there--or at least no one who has read your post. How did you find the hotel?

L'Isle Marie looks very nice--I want the La Marquise apartment. I didn't see any prices indicated, however.

The château is in an excellent location, central for touring the D-Day sights, among others. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it; perhaps it's a well kept secret?

very odd. l'isle marie was cited as one of travel + leisure's 50 most romantic hideaways, but i have heard prices are similar to chateau sully.
