Lisbon with a 2 year old

Hi, we are looking at visiting Lisbon with a 2 year old in September and would appreciate advice on the following

1) Best location, we would prefer somewhere relatively central but not in a noisy nightlife area

2) Any recommendations for Hotels Appartments ?

3) Things to do/ see with a 2 year old child

4) Length of stay, - we are thinking 4/5 days , would that be about right to allow us to see what the city has to offer

Regards

Gerry

You might enjoy a ride on a funicular. http://www.luso.u-net.com/funicula.htm
I don't remember the name of the hotel we stayed in overnight.
The desk clerk did speak English quite well.
We ate an evening meal at the Hard Rock Cafe.
If you take the subway, beware of pickpockets that exit the car as you are getting on.
