Can one of you kind Fodorites please help me understand the difference between the various cards and their pros and cons? I've see that there is the Lisboa card, the 7-colinas card, various day cards and who knows what else. However, I've not found a good description of what's included in each (such as which sites are included with the Lisboa card). I'd like to be able to evaluate which to buy and when to do it.
Thanks for your help!

The 7 Collinas card gives you transportation on "anything that moves" in Lisbon, i.e., trams, Metro, funiculars, elevadors.. When we were there it was offered in options of different amount of days..It was the easiest and least expensive card we have used in any city.We bought ours in Praca Figueroa, adjacent to Praca Rossio.
I believe it was the Lisboa Card that we purchased and then tried to return. Of course, they said that they would try to sell it to someone else and then refund our money but that didn't happen and we were stuck with it. Lesson learned!
It comes with a thick book that must be taken to a number of the sites in order to use. It's not very travel friendly and the discounts weren't that good!
