>>Hopefully reasonable price<<

Reasonable price could mean anything - what is your actual budget?

Thank you Sher-looks good but unfortunately not available all our dates-24-29 September.

Price on that was 665 euros for week so around that or less eg 200 australian dollars a night but hopefully less if poss and sounds like chiado area best.

We stayed in this apartment in October 2013 and absolutely loved it! The neighborhood, Alfama and the apartment made our trip to Lisbon very special. Here's the link http://www.casadalfama.com/Casa_dAlfama/welcome.html

Have a look at airbnb...

We used recently for a week in Kathmandu. Loved the place, excellent value, and the reviews were ovbiously genuine.

A quick note about airbnb. They are bigger than both the Hyatt and Wyndham hotel groups. So they're not fly-by-nighters!

I stayed in this apartment for a month in 2010. I loved it! Also, not far to the Chiado metro stop.

Oh ticotico that one is booked too. AAAAAH I had already read your blog and looked at it. I will look at more on homeaway. I am not really seeking perfection at all-just lost the plot. Thanks all.

PS I have FINALLY booked with Paolo at chiado apartments after emailing and requesting if they had another apartment like the first one from Sher and he had one being renovated so not on vrbo YAY so thanks Sher. Huge phew and super quick email replies from Paolo.

So my advice to all-book early especially in summer!
and I just happened upon an apartment in lisbon with a GARDEN for $199 night-called "Spacious comfy home and garden" on Trip advisor-looks fantastic if anyone else is looking!!!
