Lisbon and Spain-"must see" advance tix?
Planning a trip to Lisbon, Madrid, Granada, and Barcelona with departure in about 7 weeks with very limited research time until then.
Any advice on "must sees" in those locations, where advance ticket purchase is imperative? E.g., The Alhambra - I already know this is a must-see in Granada, and that advance tix purchase is necessary.

I don't think you need advance tickets for anything in Lisbon. My must sees would be the monastery at Belem and the Gulbenkian, along with a selection of the miradores. (And the Solar do Vinho do Porto!)
Make sure you book the Alhambra for the evening as well as the day.
For Barcelona you absolutely need advance tickets for any of the Gaudi sites, plus the Palace of Catalan Music. Go here and use the links at the top of the page for info on the Barcelona sights:

That you for the tips, esp for Barcelona. I have not researched Barca yet and did not know about the Palace of Catalan Music. Now buying tix for a performance when we are there. Venue looks amazing!

On our last trip to Lisbon we didn't purchase advance tickets for anything either.
And as thursdaysd said, for Barcelona advance tickets for the monumental zone of the Park Guell are necessary now (limited to 400 people an hour) and are timed slots in half-hour intervals, from 8:00 am-8:30 pm in summer.

And for the Sagrada Familia, timed slots in 15-minute intervals, from 9:00 am-7:15 pm.
You'll need to decide whether you want the basic ticket, the ticket with audio guide, ticket with group tour, or ticket with audio guide and access to one of the towers, Passion or Nativity. For the tower access you take the elevator up and walk down.
There's also a combo ticket for Sagrada Familia with audio guide and Gaudi's house/museum in the Park Guell.

The lines to get into the Casa Mila (La Pedrera) can be long in summer, so we purchase advance tickets there just to save time. There are both timed tickets (half hour intervals) and "skip the lines/come anytime" tickets, which are 6.50 euros more expensive.

This summer La Pedrera will continue with its summer evening jazz concerts, Nits d'Estiu. Ninety minutes of jazz on the rooftop, on Fridays/Saturdays at 9:00 pm. Complimentary glass of cava. Doors open at 8:30. These are very popular, so if you're interested you should book ahead.
Another great way to experience the Palau de la Musica, in addition to the guided tour, would be to attend an evening concert. In July there will be flamenco, Masters of the Spanish Guitar, Carmina Burana, etc. These usually begin at 9 or 9:30 pm.
We have tickets for the Gran Flamenco Festival, Vivir Flamenco, in June.
