Lindau Cruising on Lake Constance
I'm having a tough time finding information on Lindau, especially boating on Lake Constance. I'd like to take my family on a tour - English speaking for a couple of hours. I think such tours exist but like I said, can't find details, such cost, schedules, etc..
Thanks for the help.

There are regular ferries that works there way around the lake. From Lindau the easy way is to catch the ferry to Friedrichshafen and catch the train back, whole thing takes about 3 hours, both Lindau and Friedrichshafen have places to eat and drink on the strand, you could do Bregenz as well but the strand is less attractive.
The ferries have eats and drinks on board.
You could also do a tour in the Zepplin but it costs a fortune, the timing is uncertain and basically designed for the super-wealthy who hang out waiting.

To be fair there are the odd little boat in the very small harbour, but I've never discovered what they are for, last year one was made up like a pirate ship, and I suspect it did drinking parties. Certainly nothing with a website that I've seen
And then..
I remembered the word Rundfahrt...
http://ms-bayern.de/eng/index_eng.php so I was wrong there are boats

The big company that does the ferry lines as well as day cruises on the lake have all information on their website but unfortunately no English evrsion: http://www.bsb.de/
There is a second, smaller company that does short round trips from Lindau and their website has an English version: http://ms-bayern.de/eng/index_eng.php
Then there is the historical steamer "Hohentwiel": http://www.hohentwiel.com/Home/tabid...S/Default.aspx
